Kinematic Viscosity Apparatus with Automatic Calculation ASTM D445

Features :

Capillary viscosity meter, constant temperature bath, glass mercury thermometer, stopwatch.

II. Reagent preparation:

95%ethanol, solve oil.

III. Operation Steps:

Prepare:

1. The sample is filtered by filter paper to remove impurities before the test. Dehydration if necessary. The capillary viscometer was washed by chromic acid washing solution, benzene distillation water or 95%ethanol. Then put in the oven to dry it .

2. Before putting in the sample, put the rubber tube on the tube, block the mouth of the tube with your fingers, invert the viscometer at the same time, and then insert the small mouth of the tube into the sample to inhale the sample. Use the ear washing ball to suck the sample to the lower marking line (be careful not to produce bubbles and cracks) to lift the viscosity meter quickly. The leather tube is covered on the tube body.

 

 

3. Immerse the viscosometer with a sample into the constant temperature bath, and fix the viscometer on the bracket with a clip. In a fixed position, the dilated part of the viscosity meter must be immersed in half. The thermometer is fixed with another clip, the position of the water and silver ball is close to the horizontal plane of the center point of the capillary, and the scale of the thermometer is located at the liquid surface of the constant temperature bath -10mm.

Measure:

1. Adjust the viscosity meter to vertical state, and use the lead hammer line to check the vertical condition of the capillary.

2. Adjust the constant temperature bath to the prescribed temperature and the constant temperature prescribed.
